Man killed in Central Jersey hit-and-run

OLD BRIDGE, NJ – A man was killed when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Central Jersey early Tuesday.

According to the Middlesex Daily Voice, the victim was hit along US-9 near Ferry Road at about 6:45 a.m. It is unclear if he was in a vehicle or walking.

The unidentified man was pronounced dead a short time later.

No arrests have been made at the time of this writing.
