ATLANTIC COUNTY, NJ — A 30-year-old man died early Monday after a single-vehicle accident in the Elwood area of Mullica Township, according to Daily Voice.
Mullica Township Police said the fatal crash took place on the 3200 block of Reading Avenue at 4:34 a.m. Local police, fire officials, and medics were all dispatched to the site.
While the cause of the wreck has not been released, preliminary details indicate the victim, Nelson P. Narvaez, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox SUV that veered off the roadway and struck a tree.
Responding officers arrived to find the male driver trapped in the wrecked vehicle. Medical personnel later pronounced him deceased at the scene.
At this time, the Mullica Township Police Fatal Accident Unit continues to investigate.
