MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — A 62-year-old man from Passaic County died Saturday evening after a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Milltown, according to Daily Voice.
New Jersey State Police said the fatal wreck occurred on the northbound side of the turnpike (Interstate 95) at about 7:05 p.m.
An early investigation shows the man was driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck northbound, when, for reasons still unknown, it hit the left guardrail. The pickup then ran across the lanes and collided with the right concrete barrier.
Officials did not say whether they male driver died at the scene or at a hospital. No other injuries were reported, and no other vehicles appear to have been involved.
An investigation remains ongoing.
