Man Crashes After Attempting to Avoid Police

CLIFTON, NJ – A man crashed after attempting to avoid police apprehension on Monday, according to Daily Voice

Quinn Mayweather, 22, who had been awaiting an upcoming trial for stealing a vehicle and assaulting a woman, went on a violent rampage on Monday. After reportedly punching a woman and assaulting another, among other charges, he fled from authorities in a stolen Hyundai Sonata. 

Police caught sight of the car, stolen from East Orange on Monday, and chased the suspect. Mayweather quickly crashed. 

Mayweather is in custody.
