ELIZABETH, NJ – A major accident near the Newark airport closed several lanes in Elizabeth on Monday morning, according to 511 New Jersey.
The crash occurred on the outside lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike near the exit for Newark Liberty International Airport at about 9:30 a.m.
The three center lanes were closed because of the accident.
