PARAMUS, NJ – A large truck was traveling on southbound Garden State Parkway when the truck rolled over and blocked the exit ramp to southbound Route 17. According to the
Daily Voice, the driver of the truck was trapped in steam coming from the vehicle. Emergency responders on the scene transported the driver to Hackensack University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. It’s unclear what exact injuries the driver suffered in the crash.

Trucks with a weight of over 10,000 pounds are prohibited from traveling on Parkway north of exit 105. Violators of that rule can face jail time or a fine. It’s unclear at this time if this truck was over the allowed weight limit.
