MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — A tractor-trailer jackknifed Friday afternoon on the northbound New Jersey Turnpike in East Brunswick, according to 511NJ TPK.
The accident occurred north of Interchange 9 to New Jersey Route 18 and was first recorded by 511NJ at 3:55 p.m.
It’s unclear at this time what led up to the wreck, but two left lanes out of three total northbound lanes were blocked.

Local officials have not disclosed the cause of the incident or whether the driver was seriously hurt.
