MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ – According to Nj.com, officials have released the identity of the victim of a fatal train accident earlier this month.
The 24-year-old victim was struck by a New Jersey Coast Line train in Hazlet on October 15. Police identified the victim as Amilcar Cuxum of Perth Amboy.
All 20 people aboard the train at the time of the accident escaped injury.
It is still unclear why the victim came to be on the tracks.
