MARLBORO, NJ – Police came to the rescue of a young girl after a crash in New Jersey Monday that left her pinned between two vehicles, news12.com reported.
Officers in Marlboro responded to the scene at about 6 p.m. following the accident on Conover Road. The girl had been in the back seat of one of the vehicles involved. She was partially ejected and pinned, police said.
One officer pushed the vehicle off her by using a police SUV, while another officer managed to pull her out to safety just in time. The vehicles burst into flames moments later.
The girl was rushed to the hospital, where she was reported to be in critical condition.
