MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — At least one person died late Wednesday after a single-vehicle crash in Howell Township that left multiple others injured, reports local media.
Monmouth County authorities responded to the scene in the area of Lanes Mill Road and Lanes Pond Road shortly after 11:00 p.m.
Few details have been provided, but first responders arrived to find that a vehicle carrying about four occupants was involved.
Officials confirmed at least one person, whose identity remains undisclosed, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other patients were rushed to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office is expected to assist in the investigation.
