Elderly pedestrian killed by vehicle in Morris County

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – According to NJ.com, an elderly pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in residential Mine Hill Township on Tuesday evening.

The 77-year-old woman was crossing West Randolph Avenue around 6:45 p.m. when an SUV struck her. She died at the scene. Authorities have withheld her identity pending the notification of her family.

The driver, a woman, stopped at the scene and cooperated with the responding officers.
