CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — A 28-year-old man was arrested early Monday after his car hit a police SUV parked at the department headquarters in Gloucester Township, reports NJ.com.
The incident occurred off Chews Landing Road at around 12:40 a.m.
According to Gloucester Township Police, the man, a Pennsauken resident, was driving eastbound on the road when he lost control of his car, which entered the westbound lane. The car then traveled into the department parking lot, where it collided with a vacant, unmarked police SUV and then came to rest partially on a tree.
The male driver, who was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Pennsylvania, was subsequently booked into Camden County Jail.
No serious injuries were reported following the crash.
