BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A 39-year-old Teaneck man died early Monday after a two-vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway in northeast Old Bridge, according to NJ.com.

The fatal accident happened on the northbound side of the parkway near milepost 121.6, at around 12:25 a.m.

An early investigation by New Jersey State Police indicates the man was driving northbound in the express lanes when he was involved in a sideswipe crash with an SUV. The impact of that crash caused his car to hit a concrete barrier and then a guardrail before rolling over.

Officials confirmed the Teaneck man died from his injuries at the scene.

At this time, no details on the other driver or their condition have been disclosed.

An investigation remains underway.
