BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — A Shamong Township man who fled the scene of an Evesham Township crash on Monday, December 12, has been located and charged, reports Daily Voice.
Evesham Township Patrol Officers were called to the scene on New Jersey Route 70 and Troth Road.
Authorities said responding officers were able to identify the fleeing vehicle shortly after and tried to conduct a traffic stop. After the driver failed to stop, a pursuit was initiated but then quickly terminated when the fleeing vehicle began traveling recklessly.
Further investigation later led to the identification of the driver. He was then arrested on a summons for eluding, but has since been released.
