PENNINGTON, NJ – Downed wires led to closures and traffic delays on Route 31 in Pennington this morning, according to information from the New Jersey DOT (NJDOT).
Rt 31 northbound all lanes remain closed and detoured North of West Delaware Ave in Pennington due to downed wires. Follow detour or plan alternate route

The incident occurred on northbound Rt. 31 near W Delaware Avenue at around 10 a.m.
All northbound lanes were closed, with detours planned to go north of W Delaware Ave as authorities worked the scene.
By 11:07 a.m., the roadway was reopened.
