MERCER COUNTY, NJ – Further details have come to light surrounding the fatal crash on the New Jersey Turnpike last week, according to Daily Voice.
A Lincoln Town Car was northbound on the Turnpike in East Windsor Township. The sedan became disabled in the travel lanes near milepost 67 just before midnight on Thursday. The vehicle was then struck by a Jeep Cherokee.
The two backseat passengers in the Lincoln died at the scene of the accident. The driver and front-seat passenger were both seriously injured. The driver of the Jeep sustained minor injuries.
The identity of the victims has not been released.
An investigation is ongoing.
