Delivery driver injured following accident with utility pole

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ – A fast-food delivery driver was injured Friday afternoon after a collision with a utility pole in Hamilton Township, according to Peterson’s Breaking News of Trenton.

The accident happened on Cedar Lane, near Pitman Avenue at about 3 p.m. A delivery driver for Chicken To Go collided with the pole near St. Mary’s Cemetery, causing what appeared to be minor damage to the black Toyota.

The pole, its electrical wires still live, fell onto the vehicle following impact.

The driver was injured in the accident and treated at the scene by emergency personnel.

The damages to the pole were expected to be repaired by the Public Service Enterprise Group as of Friday afternoon.
