Crash claims 2 lives on County Rd 563 in Washington Township

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — Two people died Wednesday evening following a head-on crash on County Road 563 in Washington Township, reports Daily Voice.

New Jersey State Police officials said the fatal collision took place at milepost 30 at around 5:15 p.m.

Information regarding the cause of the wreck has not been shared, but a Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling northbound when it collided with a southbound Acura.

Both drivers, 32-year-old Maureen Hanna, of Pleasantville, and 36-year-old Latoya Sotomayor, of Egg Harbor Township, were both pronounced deceased.

No other occupants appear to have been involved, and no other major injuries were reported.

Authorities continue to investigation the collision.
