Boy on bicycle fatally injured in South River hit-and-run

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — A 14-year-old boy died last Friday, July 7, after being struck by a vehicle while riding a bike in South River, according to Daily Voice.

Authorities said the fatal incident occurred in the area of Whitehead Avenue and Russel Avenue.

Details remain limited as of this writing, but Michael Arena, a 63-year-old man, has been since been charged in connection to the crash, from which he allegedly fled.
