EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – Two drivers were injured this morning after a box truck caused a multi-vehicle collision, then crashed into a recruitment building for the U.S. Air Force in East Brunswick.

According to NJ.com, the accident happened near Racetrack Road and Route 18 S at about 9 a.m., when the driver of a box truck rear-ended another vehicle. The car then crashed into two other vehicles.

The truck driver went off the side of the road and crashed into a parked vehicle, before finally crashing into the wall of the recruitment building.

The driver of the box truck and another person suffered non-critical injuries.

The building was luckily vacant at the time of the crash, though it did sustain heavy damage.

An inspector has ruled that the building is no longer safe to be occupied.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
