Bicyclist struck by utility truck in Glen Rock

GLEN ROCK, NJ – Police are seeking the driver of a truck which hit a bicyclist and did not stop to render assistance Thursday afternoon, the Daily Voice reports.

The victim told police that she had been struck by the passenger-side wing mirror of black utility truck so forcefully that it broke off from the vehicle. The incident occurred on Harristown Road close to its intersection with Berkeley Place, shortly after 2 p.m.

She said the truck was a type commonly used for construction or landscaping.

The truck was last seen headed east on Harristown Road towards Ackerman Avenue.

The victim was not seriously injured.
