Ridgewood: Man, 35, Dies in Work-Related Accident

RIDGEWOOD, NJ – A man died in a work-related accident Thursday after he fell from a tree, according to NorthJersey.com.

The accident happened Thursday morning near the intersection of Carlton Terrace and Waiku Road, reports The Ridgewood Blog.

The 35-year-old victim, of Bergenfield, fell about 20 to 30 feet before a limb landed on him. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The victim was an employee of a tree service company. There is no further information about his identity at this time.

It is unknown if the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) have yet been informed about the incident.
