Belvidere Man Killed in Wrong-Way Crash With Tanker Truck

HAMPTON TOWNSHIP, NJ – A man from Belvidere was killed in a head-on truck crash on Route 31 in Hampton early this morning, according to local news sources.

The crash occurred on southbound NJ-31, near milepost 39.4 at 3:11 a.m., when a Chevrolet Silverado headed the wrong way collided with a tanker truck.

The driver of the Silverado, 54-year-old Gennaro Sirianni, of Belvidere, died at the scene.

The driver of the truck, a person from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was not hurt in the crash.
