At least 1 hurt in crash on Garden State Pkwy near Galloway

ATLANTIC COUNTY, NJ — Authorities were called to an injury collision early Friday on the Garden State Parkway near southeast Galloway Township, according to 511NJ GSP.

The accident happened on the northbound lanes at Exit 41 to County Road 561, or Jimmie Leeds Road. It was first recorded by 511NJ at 12:07 a.m.

No information on the circumstances of the incident has been shared, but the exit ramp was blocked for at least 35 minutes.


By 12:42 a.m., crews had cleared the scene from the ramp and all lanes were reported reopened to traffic.


At this time, local agencies have not disclosed the exact number of people injured or the extent of their injuries.
