MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — Authorities responded to a crash Wednesday morning that closed a left lane on the northbound New Jersey Turnpike in Woodbridge Township, according to 511NJ TPK.
The collision occurred on the northbound lanes at Interchange 11 to the Garden State Parkway and was first reported by 511NJ just before 8:30 a.m.
Details remain limited, but one left lane out of the NJT’s three total northbound lanes were shut down in the immediate aftermath. At the time of the initial report, motorists were being diverted onto the northbound outer roadway from Exit 11.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the wreck, how many vehicles were involved, and whether anyone was seriously hurt.
