LAKEWOOD, NJ – A 9-year-old boy was killed in a rollover crash on the Garden State Parkway late last night, according to information from the Daily Voice.
The crash happened in Lakewood near exit 89A South at around 10:20 p.m., after the driver of a Volkswagen Passat drove off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle then overturned on the entrance ramp and landed in a ditch.
A 9-year-old boy from Beachwood was ejected from the vehicle, then later was pronounced dead.
It is unclear if anyone else was injured in the collision.
