ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Seven people reported physical pain Wednesday morning after a multi-vehicle wreck involving a New Jersey Transit bus in Newark, according to NJ.com.
The collision occurred at the intersection of South Orange Avenue (Route 510) and Grove Street, in the city’s Fairmount neighborhood. It was first reported at about 7:40 a.m.
Few details have been shared at this time, but Newark Police said one vehicle collided with another car in the intersection before hitting the bus.
Five passengers on the bus and its driver, along with one other driver, had “complaints of pain.” All patients were transported to the city’s University Hospital.
Officials have not disclosed further information at this time, but an investigation was in progress.
