BRIDGEWATER, NJ – A 28-year-old woman died after being hit by a driver in Bridgewater early this morning, according to information from the Daily Voice.
The crash happened on SH-28 in Bridgewater at around 12:45 a.m., as a 28-year-old resident of Hopatcong was walking along the highway. The victim was then struck by the driver of a Lexus, a 59-year-old man from Bridgewater.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was not reported as injured.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision at this time, and no charges have been filed as of yet.
