Rt 55: 27yr Old Vineland Man Dead After Crashing into Tree

CLAYTON, NJ – A 27-year-old man died after his vehicle collided with a tree in Clayton yesterday morning, according to information from NJ.com.

The crash happened on Route 55 southbound at 11:30 a.m., when 27-year-old Vineland resident Ryan May ran off the left side of the highway. His vehicle then crashed into a tree.

May was taken to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.
