24-year-old from Queens killed in pedestrian crash in Totowa

TOTOWA, NJ – A 24-year-old man is dead after being run over by a driver near a shopping center in Totowa early this morning, according to the Daily Voice.

The crash happened on westbound Route 46, near 46 Lounge at 3:47 a.m., when the driver of a 2018 Jeep Wrangler, a 31-year-old Morristown resident, crashed into a pedestrian.

The victim, 24-year-old Ahmed Idid, of the Rego Park neighborhood in Queens, New York, died at the scene at 4:11 a.m.

The driver remained at the scene after the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
