2 people dead, 2 injured in multi-vehicle crash in Egg Harbor Twp

HAMPTON, NJ – Two people from Pennsylvania were killed and another two were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Egg Harbor Township on Thursday afternoon, according to the Daily Voice.

The crash occurred on Delilah Road at about 1:30 p.m., when the driver of a 2015 Volkswagen, 51-year-old Timothy Millett, of Clarks Summit, Penn., went over the center line and into the lane of oncoming traffic. There, he collided head-on with a 2013 Mazda CX-9 being driven by 52-year-old John Ward, of Lansdale, Penn.

A third vehicle, a 2014 Dodge Journey being driven by 50-year-old West Berlin man Anthony Dorto, then collided with the back of the Mazda.

Millett and his passenger, 35-year-old Clarks Summit woman Sara Hutchinson, were taken to the hospital in Atlantic City. There, they succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced dead.

Ward sustained severe injuries and was taken to the hospital in Atlantic City for treatment.

Dorto suffered moderate wounds in the crash and was brought to the hospital in Pomona.

The accident remains under investigation.
