CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NJ — Two people, including a police officer, were hospitalized Monday after a two-vehicle wreck in downtown Millville, reports Daily Voice.
Millville Police said the collision occurred at the intersection of South 2nd Street (Route 47) and East Main Street (Route 49), at around 3:30 p.m.
According to authorities, the officer was driving a marked police vehicle with its lights and sirens activated, when, for reasons still unknown, it collided with a passenger car.
Both drivers were transported to Inspira Medical Center Vineland with minor injuries.
An investigation remains underway. As of Thursday, April 27, the MPD has not issued any tickets in the incident.
