ATLANTIC COUNTY, NJ — Two people were left trapped Wednesday morning after their car collided with a parked vehicle and overturned in Pleasantville, according to Daily Voice.
The accident was reported on Madison Avenue, and prompted a response from Pleasantville Police and Pleasantville Fire Department crews at around 7:20 a.m.
Preliminary details indicate Jesusa Morales-Martinez, a 34-year-old Pleasantville woman, was driving a 2020 Nissan Rogue that hit the back of a parked vehicle. The impact of the crash caused the Nissan Rogue to flip and land on its driver’s side.
Firefighters worked to stabilize the vehicle as they assisted the Rogue’s two occupants out from the car’s moonroof.
Responding Tri-care EMS personnel evaluated Morales-Martinez and her passenger, 41-year-old Carolina D. Flores Urbina, at the scene. The patients were later released from the crash site. No hospital transports were recorded following the event.
The cause of the collision remains undisclosed, but no summonses were immediately issued.
