SAYREVILLE, NJ – A 15-year-old pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Route 35 in Sayreville early this morning, according to NJ.com.
The crash occurred at about 3:45 a.m. on Rt 35 N, near S Pine Avenue, after a 15-year-old victim was struck by an unknown driver who then fled the scene.
The victim was found dead in the roadway by investigators.
The driver may have been operating a Honda Accord, but no description of the vehicle was immediately available.
