BOGOTA, NJ – A 14-year-old bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Bogota last night, according to the Daily Voice.
The crash occurred on Larch Avenue at about 8:45 p.m., after the driver of a black 2013-2018 four-door Cadillac collided with a 14-year-old riding a bicycle. The driver then fled the scene.
The boy was taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
Authorities continue to search for the suspect driver and vehicle, which may have damage to the bumper and hood. Those with any information on the crash are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 844-466-6789. There is up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the identification of the vehicle and/or driver.
