1 person dead after pedestrian crash on NJ Turnpike in East Windsor

EAST WINDSOR, NJ – A pedestrian died after being hit by a driver on the New Jersey Turnpike in East Windsor yesterday afternoon, according to details from the Daily Voice.

The crash happened on the northbound turnpike near milepost 68.4 at about 12:25 p.m., when a driver collided with a pedestrian in the roadway.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, died after the crash.

The driver remained at the scene and was not hurt in the collision.

The crash remains under investigation.
