CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — One person died Thursday evening following a two-vehicle crash in west Waterford Township, according to local media.
The fatal collision occurred in the 1000 block of Jackson Road, near Atco Dragway. Waterford Township Police were called to the scene at about 6:25 p.m.
It was unclear what led up to the accident, but officers arrived to find one person suffering from major injuries. The patient was rushed to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased shortly after, confirmed officials. No other serious injuries were reported.
Authorities have not disclosed further information, but the cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
