WARREN COUNTY, NJ – A violent crash left one person dead and three more seriously injured in Liberty Township on Sunday night, according to NJ.com.
The two-vehicle crash on Route 46 happened at about 11 p.m. A Dodge Ram pickup truck was heading west when it crossed double yellow lines into an on-coming vehicle. The Dodge pickup collided with a GMC pickup hauling a trailer head-on.
The driver of the Dodge Pickup truck was killed in the collision. The Dodge was also carrying one passenger. The GMC had four occupants.
Three helicopters responded to the crash to transport the seriously injured victims to area hospitals.
Following the accident, Route 46 was closed for hours. The Haz-Mat team from Warren County cleaned up a spill at the accident scene.
