1 dead, 2 left seriously hurt after Brick Township crash

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — One person has died following a collision late Tuesday in north Brick Township that left two others seriously injured, according to local media.

Ocean County officials said the crash happened at the intersection of Burnt Tavern Road and Greenbriar Boulevard. Local police were called to the scene just before 11:20 p.m.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the wreck or how many vehicles were involved, but officers arrived to find three victims seriously injured. One of those victims was pronounced deceased early the next morning.

No further details have been disclosed at this time, as an investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing.
