SALEM COUNTY, NJ – One person was killed and three others seriously injured when an SUV crashed in Alloway Township on Sunday morning.
According to Nj.com, four people were in a westbound Ford Explorer when the vehicle crashed on Route 540 near milepost 10 at about 10 a.m. The vehicle left the road, ran into some trees and a utility pole before returning to the roadway and overturning.
One of the passengers, identified as 27-year-old Dineth Pinzon-Romero, was killed by the accident. The driver and other two passengers, one a 6-year-old girl, were seriously injured and taken to an area hospital. All four of the occupants were from Brooklyn, New York.
The accident is under investigation.
