Man charged for fatal East Orange accident

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ – A West Orange man has been arrested and charged for a fatal accident that happened in East Orange last Friday.

According to local news, 39-year-old Christian Brown was the driver that caused a multi-car accident near the corner of Park Avenue and North 18th Street at about 6:30 a.m. on November 6.

One person was killed in the accident. The victim has been identified as 59-year-old John K. Williams of East Orange.

Brown is charged with vehicular homicide and driving with a suspended license. He is being held in the county correctional facility.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
