FORT LEE, NJ – A car accident was blocking one lane on the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee on Tuesday morning, according to 511 New Jersey.
The accident happened approaching the Upper Level Toll Plaza on the New Jersey side of the bridge at about 8:30 a.m.
The left lane was blocked by the accident and the emergency response team. Traffic was backing up behind the crash area but the scene was quickly cleared and traffic was able to flow smoothly again.
