ELK TOWNSHIP, NJ – A vehicle crashed off the roadway on New Jersey 55 in Elk Township causing entended closures on Friday, according to 511 New Jersey.
The accident happened in the southbound lanes near Exit 45 for Buck Road at about 6 a.m. Details about the circumstances surrounding the crash are still unavailable, including whether anyone was injured in the crash or the number of vehicles involved
However, the incident caused the right lane to be closed for more than five hours on Friday morning. Delays were listed to be 10 to 15 minutes for hours.
