MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ – A 19-year-old died in a motorcycle accident in Old Bridge on Wednesday, according to Daily Voice.
The accident occurred on Route 18 at about 11 p.m., when the motorcyclist ran a red light at the intersection of Route 18 and Ferry Road was hit by a black Lexus making a left turn onto Ferry.
John Flanagan of Aberdeen was transported to Hackensack Meridian Health Raritan Bay Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the Lexus suffered minor abrasions from broken glass.
Local authorities are investigating the accident.
