EDISON, NJ – A driver was hospitalized after his cement truck overturned on a New Jersey highway Friday morning, the Middlesex Daily Voice reported.
The accident happened at about 10 a.m. on the southbound side of Route 287 in Edison along the ramp to the New Jersey Turnpike, according to state troopers.
The 59-year old driver remained conscious as he was being airlifted to a local hospital. His name has not yet been released.
The ramp to the turnpike remained closed Friday afternoon while the investigation continued.
