Injuries were reported following a crash on the westbound lanes of I-76 which caused several lanes to be closed Thursday afternoon, April 16.
According to reports from the preliminary investigation, a vehicle was traveling on the westbound lanes of I-76 at around 4:22 pm when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash and spread debris all over the highway near Route 130.
Minor injuries were reported fro the driver who was taken by emergency responders to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Three right lanes were blocked as police investigated and cleaned up the debris on the roadway.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Vehicular Accidents

We urge drivers to observe and follow the laws while driving, and to remain focused while driving so that they can react accordingly to situations that may suddenly pop up on the roadway. Drivers should be more careful when driving while visibility is low, and they should also check their car before going on the roadway. Being more diligent and prepared can help lessen accidents on the roads of New Jersey.
