BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Two men died early Saturday after a rollover crash involving a DUI suspect in Teaneck, according to ABC7.
Local authorities said the accident happened on Teaneck Road, shortly after 2:00 a.m.
An early investigation shows 32-year-old Teddy Mejia was driving a BMW when the vehicle veered off the roadway, collided with a tree, and came to rest on its roof.
First responders pronounced two male passengers deceased at the scene. Their identities remain undisclosed at this time.
Mejia, who survived the wreck, was rushed to an area hospital with unspecified injuries. He is expected to be booked into jail following his release and faces charges that include vehicular homicide.
