MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Authorities were called to a serious wreck Thursday afternoon that closed part of southbound U.S. Route 1 in Lawrence Township, reports Daily Voice.
The accident happened on the southbound lanes at Franklin Corner Road and Bakers Basin Road. It was first recorded by the New Jersey Department of Transportation at about 12:20 p.m.
Little information has been made available, but a section of the southbound highway remained blocked until at least 2:00 p.m., more than an hour and a half later.
An investigation was underway. Local agencies have not confirmed any injuries as of this writing.
