Authorities respond to major crash on US-1 in NE Trenton

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A serious collision late Wednesday afternoon closed a right lane on U.S. Route 1 in northeast Trenton, according to Daily Voice.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation said the accident impacted the southbound lanes near Mulberry Street, near the city’s Top Road neighborhood. It was first reported shortly after 3:55 p.m.

Few details have been provided at this time, but the right lane of two total southbound lanes were blocked in the immediate aftermath of the crash.

Authorities have not disclosed any information regarding potential injuries as of this writing.
