2 NJ troopers, SUV driver hospitalized after Hamilton crash

ATLANTIC COUNTY, NJ — Three people, including two NJSP troopers, were injured Thursday morning due to a wreck on U.S. Highway 322 in Hamilton Township, reports Daily Voice.

The accident occurred on a span of the highway (Black Horse Pike) near milepost 40.3, at around 11:00 a.m.

Details are limited, but a spokesman with New Jersey State Patrol said a marked NJSP vehicle was hit by a Ford Escape SUV.

Two troopers in the NJSP vehicle were transported by ambulance to a local hospital, while the SUV driver was taken by airlift to Camden’s Cooper University Hospital. At this time, officials have not disclosed the severity of the patients’ conditions.

An investigation remains in progress.
